It’s reported that China’s suppliers cut the CGI price by US$50/ton for South Korean buyers from the prices of July.

China’s HDG price was relatively low in global market with 13 percent tax rebate. Earlier, South Korean Dongbu Steel quoted its CGI product at 1.12 million won/ton. 

However, China’s supplier quoted the same offer at only 850,000 won/ton. Obviously, China’s HDG price is quite competitive in South Korean market
