Steel flat price kept moving upward steadily in Shanghai this week.
The current price of HRC with commercial quality was about RMB 4,000 ~4,300/ton. The prices of CRC increased but the price difference was large, and HDG price slightly moved up by RMB30~50/ton.
However, traders worried that price rise seemed a flash in the pan without actual demands.
